    • Seminar on “Use of Bio-technology for improving production of Non-Edible Oil Seed Crops as a renewable source of Energy (2009) The main focus of the seminar was the use of Jatropha plant as a bio fuel. The many advantages associated with Jatropha make it one of the main crops currently being promoted for bio diesel production in several countries, globally. Jatropha can be used as a means of economic empowerment, social upliftment and poverty alleviation within marginalized communities. The technology issues as well as prospects for further research were also discussed.
    • Dissemination seminar on State of Elementary Education in Rajasthan: Studies conducted by Shiv Charan Mathur Social Policy Research Institute (2009) The seminar dealt with the impact of the implementation of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan (SSA) has made on the educational scenario in Rajasthan both in terms of universalizing elementary education on the one hand and transforming elementary schools as centres of quality education, on the other. The objective was to comprehend the problems which beset the education scenario in the realm of elementary education is like a precious stone which awaits to e chiseled to attain the pristine glory of quality education. The seminar’s motto was to ascribe this glory to elementary education.
    • Seminar on converging Reproductive Health & Family Planning Programmes with National AIDS control programmes in Rajasthan (2009) The Population Foundation of India and the Shiv Charan Mathur Social Policy Research Institute organized a two-day seminar to advocate the need of integrating Reproductive Health, Family Planning and HIV/AIDS among the stakeholders in the state including policy makers, administrators, researchers and civil society and is expected to offer future directions for integrating the RCH, FP and HIV/AIDS programmes for enhanced effectiveness and efficacy with reference to Rajasthan.
    • National Seminar on Energy Sector in Rajasthan - Strategies and Policy Options (2006) A Seminar on Energy Sector in Rajasthan – Strategies and Policy Options was organized on 11th and 12th March, 2006. The seminar was inaugurated by Hon’ble State Minister of Energy, Govt. of Rajasthan, Shri Gajendra Singh Kinvasar
    • National Seminar on Earthquake and related Issue with Special Reference to Rajasthan (2005) A Seminar on Earthquake and related Issue with special reference to Rajasthan was organized on November 22, 2005 is collaboration with the Geological Survey of India, Western Region, Jaipur. The seminar was inaugurated by Hon’ble Shri SIS Ram Ola, Minister for Mines, Government of India.
    • National Seminar on Oil, Gas and Lignite Scenario with special reference to Rajasthan (2005) A National Level Seminar on Oil, Gas & Lignite Scenario with Special Reference to Rajasthan was organized on April 20 & 21, 2005 is association with Department of Petroleum, Government of Rajasthan. The seminar was inaugurated by Shri Mani Shankar Aiyar, Hon’ble Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.
    • State level Seminar on Drinking Water and Health : Issues and Perspectives in Rajasthan (2002) A state-level seminar on "Drinking Water & Health : Issues and Perspectives in Rajasthan" was organized in collaboration with UNICEF on September 24, 2002. Hon'ble Shri Ashok Gehlot, C.M., Rajasthan, delivered the Inaugural Address. Hon'ble Shri C.P. Joshi, PHED Minister, Rajasthan, also addressed the gathering.
    • National Seminar on Strategy for Sustainable Development of Mineral Sector (2001) The institute organized a two-day national seminar on Strategy for sustainable development of mineral sector on Aug. 11 & 12, 2001. The seminar was to be inaugurated by Hon’ble Shri Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, but due to untimely demise of Shri Rampal Upadhyay at Gulabpura, he could not come to inaugurate the seminar. The National Seminar was addressed by Hon’ble Shri Pradyumn Singh, Finance Minister of Rajasthan; and the valedictory address was delivered by Hon’ble Shri Ajit Jogi, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.
